Meet "Mustbethemoney"....Tom

We would like to introduce you to Tom. Tom is a good natured, young, happy boy. He just had surgery to repair a broken hock and is currently donning a type II K.E. device. While his injury has ended his racing career, it won't keep him from becoming someone's best bud in the future! We will keep you updated as to his progress on our Facebook page!
UPDATE 8/1/14: Tom has had his K.E. device removed and is now moving on to physical therapy :)

Meet Dreamt of Silver...."Derry"
Age: 2
Weight: 55 lbs
You can tell by looking at her that this girl would qualify for Miss Congeniality in any contest! She has tested as cat and small dog safe and even asks to go out in her current foster home! What more can you ask for?
Derry is an irresistibly photogenic girl, and you will probably see a lot of images of her because of that. While she may be small of stature, her personality more than makes up for her size! Derry is a very sweet, affectionate, and playful dog.....not too hard on the eyes either!
Derry had a slab fracture to her ulna and dislocated left wrist, but is healed now, and once she completes her PT regiment, in a few more weeks, she will be ready for placement.
UPDATE 8/19/14: Derry is has had to undergo a second surgery to place a plate in her joint in order to strengthen that leg. She is progressing well and is expected to be ready for adoption in another few months!
Meet "CH Rockin Robin"..."Robin"
Age 3
Weight 55 lbs
Robin joined us last week and is sporting a K.E. device very similar to Tom's....she is doing well so far and we will be updating everyone via our Facebook page...according to Robin's medical foster, she is a sweet, lovable, "compact" little girl...;)
Update 8/31/14: Robin has been checked out every week at the vet and all is looking GREAT. Doc expects that her KE device will be removed within two weeks.... Robin has a warm, loving personality, and she is testing cat and small dog safe.
Update 10/7/2014: Robin has now had her KE device off for a few weeks and is ALMOST ready to go.......she will be ready to begin meeting prospective adopters this coming weekend :)

Unfortuantely, Derry had a reaction to her plate, and is receovering from a THIRD surgery. She is as joyful as ever and is undergoing physical therapy in her foster home...stay tuned!
